Just a quick update to let you know that we finished sending out all the pledge manager invitations tonight as planned. Apparently, the smoke test only revealed minor bugs. Thanks to everyone who contacted us! Don't forget, if you have any problem or question, open a ticket here. You are a lot, it may take several days to answer you ^^

We remind you that some references are limited in number. If you don't see it on the page anymore, it's simply because it's out of stock. By the way, we have just learned from our manufacturers that the cost of raw materials has soared. It was already the case of the cargo transport costs... multiplied by 4 these last months! But don't worry, the success of this campaign allows us to remain confident on the budget side. We would have preferred to spend this extra money to create more ! Anyway, don't hesitate to take some extra options to support the project ^^ A big thank you to all of you!

Another important reminder: the pledge manager will be closed at the end of the month. You will not be able to update your reward, add or remove options and so on after the deadline. You wil be charged at the beginning of June of your shipping fees and options.

To finish this update, we would like to share an indie project from Sweden, brought by enthusiasts like us: Wayfarers of the Farwood: A 5E Campaign Setting. We are ourselves a French independent studio. Your huge support allows us to exist. We know where we come from and we don't forget it. Go and have a look at their project, it's promising!

The Pledge Manager is Launched Today

The pledge manager is ready! Backerkit has validated everything and we will launch a smoke test tonight. About 5% of the backers will receive an invitation. If you find any bug, please report it here. Thank you <3

Early next week, we will launch the other invitations. By Wednesday, May 5th, everyone should have received their invitation. You will have until the end of May to fill out your Backerkit account, enter your address, add your options, choose your language and cover and so on. Shipping costs and additional options will be charged early June. You will receive an update before then.

If this is your first time backing a Kickstarter, here is some basic information. A pledge manager is an online tool (called Backerkit) that allows us to better organize deliveries, allow you to add options or update your address and retrieve your PDFs, among other things. When you receive the invitation, simply follow the steps. Your account was created automatically and Backerkit is pretty intuitive. But if you need a hand, feel free to write to us.

If you are a retailer, we will create a dedicated mailing list to facilitate communication with you. We will send you a copy of this update via this mailing list. We know you get a lot of emails and we hope this will make it easier for you!

Discover Shadows of Esteren

This pledge manage is the opportunity to discover our gothic universe which is also the most awarded French role playing game. You can discover it here. https://portal.esteren.org/

The pledge manager proposes you many Esteren items very limited in quantities because many books are close to be sold out. When a reference is out of stock, it disappears from the page. You also have some copies of a big bundle with a 40% discount. Take advantage of this because ordering Esteren books does not add any extra shipping costs. Everything will be delivered at the same time as your Encyclopedia rewardss. All this is only available in English.

Shadows of Esteren is a medieval world with horrific and gothic overtones in a dark, low fantasy setting. Drawing inspiration from Celtic myths, this universe has a subtle fantastic side hidden under a bleak, realistic surface. With the focus of its adventures being investigation and survival, Shadows of Esteren favors immersion and interaction among the players.

Shipping costs

The shipping costs will be a bit higher than expected due to the unlocked bonuses but also due to the increase of the shipping fees everywhere. We will take care of most of these increases, but they will still be reflected in your participation for a few dollars depending on your reward tier. However, the good news is that there are no additional shipping costs if you take additional options, we cover them completely. The UK and Switzerland are considered European countries. And we maintain free shipping for retailers. For Creature backers, the shipping credit is automatically assigned to your Backerkit account depending on your country.

Possibility to upgrade your reward tier

We confirm that you can upgrade your reward tier. This will be explained directly in the steps of your pledge manager. If you are in Access to the Pledge Manager ($10) and you change to another reward tier, you will get the physical stretch goals, so enjoy! Otherwise, you can stay in this tier and choose a la carte but you won't get the physical bonuses, only the digital ones.

Choose your add-ons

The "pledge manager" allows you to complete your participation with options. Take advantage of it because it doesn't add any extra shipping costs :)

In the pledge manager add-ons page, you will have many choices. Depending on your reward tier, some items are already in your list: beware of duplicates... unless you want to receive several copies! A little tip: when you arrive on the add-ons page, you can see the total content of your pledge on the right:

If you took add-ons during the Kickstarter campaign, they are already in your reward list, look carefully ^^ You will be able to choose the language and cover of your add-ons just after this page dedicated to the options.

Production and delivery schedule

During this month of April, production has progressed well. All digital files have been validated. Here is the schedule announced by our two manufacturers (Europe for the books, China for the accessories):

• May: sample before mass production launch for accessories. We will post pictures!
• June: Mass production and assembly
• July: Shipping
• August: Delivery in our warehouses at the beginning of August if all goes well. It's a bit later than expected, so we'll wait until early September to make the deliveries and avoid the summer period.
• September: Delivery of your rewards

It's a little later than we hoped but we know that our manufacturers are doing their best in a complex period. In any case, we apologize for this delay and we hope that the PDFs will allow you to wait :)

Three bonuses

Tothank you and celebrate the launch of the Pledge manager, you will find three bonuses on your accounts. Older members of our community may already have them... in your digital rewards, we've added Fateforge coloring pages, a set of wallpapers and a full set of digital character sheets, which are very handy! You'll be able to download all of these once you've completed all the steps in the pledge manager.

Your PDFs

Frais de port

Les frais de ports seront un peu supérieurs à ce qu’on avait prévu du fait des bonus débloqués mais aussi de l’augmentation des coûts de transport. Nous prenons en grande partie ces augmentations à notre charge mais elles vont quand même se répercuter sur votre participation pour quelques dollars selon les contreparties. Cependant, la bonne nouvelle : aucun frais de port supplémentaires si vous prenez des options supplémentaires, nous les couvrons totalement. Le Royaume-Uni et la Suisse sont considérés comme pays européens. Et nous maintenons les frais de port gratuits pour les boutiques. Pour les souscripteurs Créatures, le crédit pour les frais de port est attribué automatiquement à votre compte Backerkit

Possibilité de changer de contrepartie

Nous vous confirmons la possibilité de changer de contrepartie. Ce sera expliqué directement dans les étapes de votre pledge manager. Si vous êtes dans Access to the Pledge Manager ($10) et que vous changez vers une autre contrepartie, vous obtiendrez les stretch goals physiques, profitez-en ! Sinon, vous pouvez rester dans cette contrepartie et choisir à la carte mais vous n’aurez pas les bonus physiques, mais seulement numériques.

Bien choisir vos options

Le « pledge manager » vous permet notamment de compléter votre participation avec des options. Profitez-en car cela n’ajoute aucun frais de port supplémentaires :)

Dans la page des « addons » du Pledge manager, vous aurez de nombreux choix. Selon votre contrepartie, certains items sont déjà dans votre liste : attention aux doublons.. à moins que vous vouliez en recevoir plusieurs exemplaires ! Petite astuce : quand vous arriverez sur la page des addons, vous pouvez voir le contenu total de votre contrepartie à droite (regardez le visuel plus haut dans la news)

Si vous avez pris des addons pendant la campagne Kickstarter, ils sont déjà dans votre compte, regardez bien ^^ Vous pourrez faire le choix de la langue et couverture de vos addons juste après cette page consacrée aux options.

Calendrier de production et de livraison

Pendant ce mois d’avril, la production a bien avancé. Tous les fichiers numériques ont été validés. Voici le calendrier annoncé par nos deux fabricants (Europe pour les livres, Chine pour les accessoires) :

• Mai : échantillon avant lancement de production de masse. Nous posterons des photos !
• Juin : Production de masse et assemblage
• Juillet : Transport
• Août : Livraison dans nos entrepôts début août si tout va bien. C’est un peu plus tard que prévu, du coup nous allons attendre tout début septembre pour faire les livraisons et éviter la période estivale.
• Septembre : Livraison de vos contreparties

C’est un peu plus tard que ce que nous espérions mais nous savons que nos fabricants font au mieux dans une période complexe. Dans tous les cas, nous nous excusons pour ce délai et nous espérons que les PDF vous permettront de patienter :)

Trois bonus

Ce Pledge manager est l’occasion de vous offrir trois bonus. Les membres anciens de notre communauté les possèdent peut-être déjà… dans vos contreparties numériques, nous avons ajouté des coloriages Fateforge, un set de fonds d’écran et un set complet de feuilles de personnages numériques, très pratiques ! Vous pourrez télécharger tout ça quand vous aurez terminé de remplir toutes les étapes du pledge manager.

The campaign has just ended! What an epic adventure!

$711.432, 8323 backers, this campaign is by far our biggest success. After years of working on these books, this is a magical ending. Thank you all for your enthusiasm. We are extremely grateful for the trust you have placed in us. Thanks to you, we will be able to continue writing, creating, illustrating!

A second Encyclopedia is planned. It will deal with the underground world, its civilizations, its dangers, and the horrible entity hiding there: the Canker. We hope you'll enjoy our treatment of this classic theme! Encyclopedia: Netherworld is scheduled for release in 2022.

But for now, we have a lot of work to do until this summer to keep up with the production and delivery of your rewards. All the books are ready, as well as all the accessories presented in this campaign. The production phase has started since the end of last year and we have received the first samples. This is a large-scale production !

Here are the next steps:

•  Pledge manager. during the month of April and for two weeks only, the pledge manager will be open. You will be able to complete your order, tell us your address. You will also be able to download all your PDFs. Depending on available stocks, we may allow you to change your reward tier. The payment of your options but also the shipping costs will be done at the beginning of May.
•  Mass production. Once this pledge manager stage is over, we will have the final quantities for mass production. It is also at this time that we should receive the last samples to be validated before the launch of this mass production. The production is scheduled for May and should last the whole month.
•  Shipping. The shipping phase of your rewards from the printers and the two shipping hubs (in France and in the USA) will take place during the month of June.
•  Delivery of your rewards. July.

Of course, there could be logistical problems, manufacturing problems, customs blockage that add delays to this schedule. We will keep you informed if this is the case. In any case, the project is very advanced and we hope to deliver it as soon as possible!

La campagne vient de se finir ! Quelle aventure épique !

$711.432, 8323 backers, cette campagne est de loin notre plus gros succès. Après des années de travail sur ces livres, ce dénouement est magique. Merci à tous pour votre enthousiasme. Nous sous sentons extrêmement reconnaissants de la confiance que vous nous accordez. Grâce à vous, nous pourrons continuer à écrire, créer, illustrer !

Une seconde Encyclopédie est prévue. Elle traitera du monde souterrain, de ses civilisations, de ses dangers, et de l’horrible entité qui s’y cache : le Chancre. Nous espérons que notre traitement de ce thème classique vous plaira ! Encyclopedia : Inframonde est prévue pour 2022.

Mais pour l’instant, nous avons beaucoup de travail jusqu’à cet été pour assurer le suivi de production et la livraison de vos contreparties. Tous les livres sont prêts, ainsi que tous les accessoires présentés dans cette campagne. La phase de production a d’ailleurs commencé depuis la fin d’année dernière et nous avons reçu les premiers échantillons. C’est une production de grande envergure.

Voici les prochaines étapes :

•  Pledge manager. pendant le mois d’avril et pendant deux semaines seulement, le pledge manager sera ouvert. Vous pourrez compléter votre commande, indiquer votre adresse. Vous pourrez également récupérer tous vos PDFs. Selon les stocks disponibles, nous pourrons vous permettre de changer de contrepartie. Le paiement de vos options mais aussi des frais de port se feront début mai.
•  Production de masse. Une fois cette étape du pledge manager terminée, nous aurons les quantités définitive pour la production de masse. C’est aussi à ce moment que nous devrions recevoir les derniers échantillons à valider avant le lancement de cette production de masse. La production est programmée pour le mois de mai et devrait durer tout le mois.
•  Transport. La phase de transport de vos contreparties entre les imprimeurs et les deux centres d’expéditions (en France et aux USA) se fera pendant le mois de juin.
•  Livraison de vos contreparties. Juillet.

Bien sûr, il pourrait y avoir des soucis logistiques, problème de fabrication, blocage douane qui ajoutent du délai à ce planning. Nous vous tiendrons informés si tel était le cas. Dans tous les cas, le projet est très avancé et nous espérons vous livrer dans les meilleurs délais !
